About The Legacy Website

Students chatting on campus courtyard

The Legacy website is one of a series of legacy-building projects that aim to document and celebrate the history, achievements and day-to-day life of Yale-NUS College. These projects are community-driven, drawing on the memories, insights and experiences of the College’s students, alumni, faculty and staff.

The website includes a Virtual Tour of the College, enabling users to explore key areas of the campus environment through a series of three-dimensional tours. Augmented with stories, information tags, photographs and audio introductions, the tours allow the community to revisit their favourite locations such as the Library, Yale-NUS College Hall, Art Studios and all three Residential Colleges.

To capture the dynamism and energy of the College, the locations were filmed during live events such as lectures and classes, social gatherings, music and dance performances and much more.

The website features a range of curated stories that will showcase the College’s history and philosophy, academic curriculum, vibrant and inclusive student life, special occasions and more.

Other Legacy Projects

The other Legacy projects include the College Digital Archives, an Oral History Project, as well as a Legacy Book, Heritage Wall and Sculpture. Through these diverse initiatives, the Yale-NUS community will be able to record their history and reconnect with the College in the future.
